For me, leadership is showing your passion and inspiring others. My goal every single day is to set that example for my colleagues and my children. It is important to share my passion with my community in hopes to inspire them to give back. I strive to be the best example possible for my children, Kaylee and Cameron, so as they mature, they will have the same passion as I do.
What was the defining moment in your past that set you on the career path you ended up following?

What makes you unique in your industry?
I absolutely love what I do. It isn’t about the money for me; it’s about helping small to medium sized businesses grow. It’s about helping the American dream of being a successful small business owner come true. For me, it’s about being a part of a team to help a business become more successful. I am constantly learning about all things digital and how to improve my work. I take pride in what I do, and I love being able to show that to my children.

What is one way you hope to impact your community in the future, either personally or professionally?
I am currently serving as president of a non-profit organization called Safety City of San Angelo. Safety City is a miniaturized replica of a town where schoolchildren learn bicycle, pedestrian and fire safety. Our volunteer board is looking not only to expand and improve our current mission but also to include other safety concerns such as fraud targeting seniors, water safety for children, and car seat safety. By partnering with our local police department, Texas DPS, fire department, and many other agencies we can save the lives of children in our community. My hope is that when the new Safety City is built, we will be making an even bigger impact in our community by protecting children’s lives as well as the elderly.

If you could sit down with any woman in the world–either from history or who is currently living–who would that be and what would you discuss with her?
I am inspired by many women in our world, both past and present, but if I had to choose just one to sit and have a conversation with it would be Rachel Hollis. I have been listening to her podcast series and I follow her on social media. I relate to her so much on a professional and a personal level and I would love to be able to have the opportunity to discuss how she balances her role as a mother and a successful entrepreneur. I’d also like to include my mother in this. I’d like to sit down with her and talk about her role as a mother when she was my age. She gave our family so much and still does to this day. I am in awe of her and I aspire to be the mother that she is.
