Texas has loved its shiny luxury publications since back in the 1980s when Ultra magazine first reflected the grand lives and even grander world of Texas. Then there were micro-regional publications that followed. Now, with our inaugural issue of Society Texas print and digital magazine, we will tell the Texans’ stories to neighbors in their own cities and beyond. We well understand our mission of focusing on our readers and the good they are doing, the gifts being given to better our communities, and the glamorous gala celebrations that accompany these efforts.

We are excited to chronicle the zest and vibrancy of not only Texan life and culture with a readership that appeals to the major markets of Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio, but also in the markets in between. We embrace the high performing Texan’s larger-than-life spirit and stories of philanthropists, fashionistas, entrepreneurs, leaders, public figures, and tastemakers across the state and everywhere beyond that a Texan hangs his hat.

Listening to the clues from our friends and followers, the heart of our magazine remains the same as our previous magazines we have created. We celebrate the stories of those whose efforts in each city and its surrounding booming metropolis continue to make Texas gracious and vivacious…and we think, the best state to call home.

Thank you greatly for your readership and we look forward to many more friendships formed in the years ahead.

The philanthropic and social scene in Texas is just like the state itself. Fun. Bold. Colorful. It is also larger than life and like Texas, its influence and presence is felt far beyond the borders of our great state. At the new Society Texas, we are honored and privileged to showcase the best people, parties and places from around the state and beyond. We are also excited that from the very first issue, we will be showcasing the best-of-the-best of the hundreds of non-profit galas and parties for which this state is so well-known to host.

In addition to the five-star events we will cover in Austin, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio, this issue will also feature events from around the world including events in Malibu, New York and Germany, all of which showcase the tremendous Texas footprint on the national and international social and philanthropic and party scenes.

Most importantly, our mission is to showcase all the good that the Texas-based non-profits and parties do to positively impact their communities, their state, their nation and their world. That is why we devote a substantial amount of our editorial in each issue that is dedicated toward effectively tell the story of more than just the party from which hundreds of thousands, if not millions of dollars are raised. The coverage of these events also shares the purpose these incredible organizations do to serve so many in Texas and beyond whether it be in the arts, culture, medical, animal advocacy or children’s organizations.

Each of the philanthropic events we cover have one thing in common with the mission of Society Texas which is to celebrate and elevate the very best Texas has to offer. We hope you enjoy reading about these amazing events as much as we enjoy spotlighting them. Until next time…when we meet in the ballroom.
